Poetry by Andrea Mazur
Watch, as love grows deep.
Listen, as the music speaks.
Learn, as time grows meek~ to the oceans steady beat. Wonder, as the stars gaze down into your eyes. Dream, of all you wish and all that could never be. A bird with no wings as is to a poet with no dreams, To hold on to tight and to lose all, look to watch yourself fall.
See, the earth and all around.
See the people, some up some down.
Watch as time slips by, dry a tear another will cry.
To fear hate is to understand joy.
Who will know?
Who’s to say?
I watch as each dream sails slowly away… I wonder above to ground so hard, a heart sick with pain of broken shame in A universe so open, with a love that lay broken.
Come to care in this place of hate
Why do you take the joy in daring?
All the peace in contemplating trust?
Take one look
One time, for my obsession of grace
To take your time…
Honesty dries the tears of addiction and death!
Are you in favor of my tries?
My wavering last goodbyes to you,
The drug I came through.
The ways it has all been said
Lying in suffocation
The longing to be free
The search for a forgotten vision,
Is there for all to see
Becoming soul found.
The room to begin is small
But brighter is the light,
In a room with no walls.
Canvass of the Moon
Under the moon,
On a canvass that is no longer white
The sun shines bright
Even on the charcoal night
Running from, fading out
Led me to what?
Hope seems to have diminished
I’ve spilled hope of my influence
Time means no more.
